Verse (4:99), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar


The fifth word of verse (4:99) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn fā wāw (ع ف و).
