Chapter (37) sūrat l-ṣāfāt (Those Ranges in Ranks)

Sahih International: And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."

Pickthall: Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray.

Yusuf Ali: "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray."

Shakir: So we led you astray, for we ourselves were erring.

Muhammad Sarwar: We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray."

Mohsin Khan: "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray."

Arberry: Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.'
