Chapter (21) sūrat l-anbiyāa (The Prophets)

Sahih International: [Some angels said], "Do not flee but return to where you were given luxury and to your homes - perhaps you will be questioned."

Pickthall: (But it was said unto them): Flee not, but return to that (existence) which emasculated you and to your dwellings, that ye may be questioned.

Yusuf Ali: Flee not, but return to the good things of this life which were given you, and to your homes in order that ye may be called to account.

Shakir: Do not fly (now) and come back to what you were made to lead easy lives in and to your dwellings, haply you will be questioned.

Muhammad Sarwar: We told them, "Do not run away. Come back to your luxuries and your houses so that you can be questioned".

Mohsin Khan: Flee not, but return to that wherein you lived a luxurious life, and to your homes, in order that you may be questioned.

Arberry: 'Run not! Return you unto the luxury that you exulted in, and your dwelling-places; haply you shall be questioned.'
