Chapter (2) sūrat l-baqarah (The Cow)

Sahih International: And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

Pickthall: Unto Allah belong the East and the West, and whithersoever ye turn, there is Allah's Countenance. Lo! Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.

Yusuf Ali: To Allah belong the east and the West: Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-Pervading, all-Knowing.

Shakir: And Allah's is the East and the West, therefore, whither you turn, thither is Allah's purpose; surely Allah is Amplegiving, Knowing.

Muhammad Sarwar: The East and the West belong to God. Wherever you turn, you are always in the presence of God. God is Munificent and Omniscient.

Mohsin Khan: And to Allah belong the east and the west, so wherever you turn yourselves or your faces there is the Face of Allah (and He is High above, over His Throne). Surely! Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knowing.

Arberry: To God belong the East and the West; whithersoever you turn, there is the Face of God; God is All-embracing, All-knowing.
