Verse (2:35), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

The seventh word of verse (2:35) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person dual. The verb's triliteral root is hamza kāf lām (أ ك ل). The suffix (الألف) is an attached subject pronoun.
