Chapter (28) sūrat l-qaṣaṣ (The Stories)

Sahih International: But the information will be unapparent to them that Day, so they will not [be able to] ask one another.

Pickthall: On that day (all) tidings will be dimmed for them, nor will they ask one of another,

Yusuf Ali: Then the (whole) story that Day will seem obscure to them (like light to the blind) and they will not be able (even) to question each other.

Shakir: Then the pleas shall become obscure to them on that day, so they shall not ask each other.

Muhammad Sarwar: The door to all answers will be closed to them and they will not even be able to ask one another.

Mohsin Khan: Then the news of a good answer will be obscured to them on that day, and they will not be able to ask one another.

Arberry: Upon that day the tidings will be darkened for them, nor will they ask each other.
