Chapter (21) sūrat l-anbiyāa (The Prophets)

Sahih International: And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."

Pickthall: And We sent no messenger before thee but We inspired him, (saying): There is no Allah save Me (Allah), so worship Me.

Yusuf Ali: Not a messenger did We send before thee without this inspiration sent by Us to him: that there is no god but I; therefore worship and serve Me.

Shakir: And We did not send before you any messenger but We revealed to him that there is no god but Me, therefore serve Me.

Muhammad Sarwar: To all the Messengers that were sent before you We revealed that I am the only God to be worshipped.

Mohsin Khan: And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad SAW) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)."

Arberry: And We sent never a Messenger before thee except that We revealed to him, saying, 'There is no god but I; so serve Me.'
