Verse (9:79), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (9:79) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is sīn khā rā (س خ ر).
