Verse (8:30), Word 14 - Quranic Grammar

The fourteenth word of verse (8:30) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and proper noun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The proper noun is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The proper noun's triliteral root is hamza lām hā (أ ل ه).

Sahih International: And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.
