Verse (6:108), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (6:108) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A particle of cause, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so". The particle is used to indicate cause and makes the following verb subjunctive. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is sīn bā bā (س ب ب). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.

Sahih International: And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.
