Verse (40:9), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (40:9) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is second person masculine singular. Sahih International: And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day - You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment."
