The seventh word of verse (28:10) is a perfect verb (فعل ماض). The verb is third person feminine singular. The verb's triliteral root is kāf wāw dāl (ك و د). The verb (كادت) belongs to a special group of words known as kāda and her sisters (كاد واخواتها).
