Chapter (55) sūrat l-raḥmān (The Most Gracious)

Sahih International: Everyone upon the earth will perish,

Pickthall: Everyone that is thereon will pass away;

Yusuf Ali: All that is on earth will perish:

Shakir: Everyone on it must pass away.

Muhammad Sarwar: Everyone on earth is destined to die.

Mohsin Khan: Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish.

Arberry: All that dwells upon the earth is perishing,
