Chapter (26) sūrat l-shuʿarā (The Poets)

Sahih International: Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel.

Pickthall: Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them.

Yusuf Ali: Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things.

Shakir: Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel.

Muhammad Sarwar: treasures, and graceful dwellings.

Mohsin Khan: Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them.

Arberry: even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel.
