Verse (27:15), Word 4 - Quranic Grammar

__

The fourth word of verse (27:15) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and proper noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The proper noun is in the genitive case (مجرور). The case marker is a fatḥah instead of a kasrah because the proper noun is a diptote (ممنوع من الصرف).

Chapter (27) sūrat l-naml (The Ants)

(27:15:4)
wasulaymāna
