Chapter (90) sūrat l-balad (The City)

Sahih International: Or a needy person in misery

Pickthall: Or some poor wretch in misery,

Yusuf Ali: Or to the indigent (down) in the dust.

Shakir: Or to the poor man lying in the dust.

Muhammad Sarwar: and downtrodden destitute person, (so that he would be of)

Mohsin Khan: Or to a Miskin (poor) afflicted with misery.

Arberry: or a needy man in misery;
