Chapter (89) sūrat l-fajr (The Dawn)

Sahih International: Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?

Pickthall: There surely is an oath for thinking man.

Yusuf Ali: Is there (not) in these an adjuration (or evidence) for those who understand?

Shakir: Truly in that there is an oath for those who possess understanding.

Muhammad Sarwar: Is this not a sufficient oath for intelligent people?

Mohsin Khan: There is indeed in them (the above oaths) sufficient proofs for men of understanding (and that, they should avoid all kinds of sins and disbeliefs, etc.)!

Arberry: Is there in that an oath for a mindful man?
