Verse (32:14), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (32:14) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is nūn sīn yā (ن س ي). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is second person masculine plural.

Verse (32:14)

The analysis above refers to the fourteenth verse of chapter 32 (sūrat l-sajdah):

Sahih International: So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
