Verse (99:7), Word 2 - Quranic Grammar


The second word of verse (99:7) is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn mīm lām (ع م ل).
