Verse (7:43), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (7:43) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A preposition and proper noun. The prefixed preposition lām is usually translated as "for". The proper noun is in the genitive case (مجرور). The proper noun's triliteral root is hamza lām hā (أ ل ه). Together the segments form a preposition phrase known as jār wa majrūr (جار ومجرور).

The analysis above refers to the 43rd verse of chapter 7 (sūrat l-aʿrāf):

Sahih International: And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers. And they will say, "Praise to Allah , who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And they will be called, "This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do."
