Verse (7:27), Word 14 - Quranic Grammar

The fourteenth word of verse (7:27) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A particle of purpose, verb and object pronoun. The prefixed particle lām is used to indicate the purpose of an action and makes the following verb subjunctive. The passive form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is rā hamza yā (ر أ ي). The attached object pronoun is third person dual.

The analysis above refers to the 27th verse of chapter 7 (sūrat l-aʿrāf):

Sahih International: O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe.

Is (7:27:14) a فعل مضارع مبني للمجهول or فعل مضارع منصوب? I thought for mujhool ر should have a Fatah after applying the harfe-e-illat rules.

It is فعل مضارع منصوب but not مبني للمجهول.

V – 3rd person masculine singular (form IV) imperfect verb, subjunctive mood
