Verse (7:23), Word 9 - Quranic Grammar

The ninth word of verse (7:23) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person feminine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is rā ḥā mīm (ر ح م). The attached object pronoun is first person plural.
