Verse (7:195), Word 25 - Quranic Grammar

The 25th word of verse (7:195) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and prohibition particle. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The prohibition particle (حرف نهي) is used to form a negative imperative and places the following verb into the jussive mood (مجزوم).
