Verse (7:11), Word 2 - Quranic Grammar

The second word of verse (7:11) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is khā lām qāf (خ ل ق). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is second person masculine plural.

Sahih International: And We have certainly created you, [O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
