Verse (70:41), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

__

The sixth word of verse (70:41) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and negative particle. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The negative particle acts like the verb laysa (ليس).
