Verse (6:84), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (6:84) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is wāw hā bā (و ه ب). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.

Sahih International: And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.
