Verse (6:120), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (6:120) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. (6:120:1) وَذَرُوا ظَاهِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُ . Is the first وَ of وَذَرُوا part of the verb or

It is واو استئنافية or resumption particle. The و of the root is dropped in the imperative.
