Sahih International: And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would surely believe in it. Say, "The signs are only with Allah." And what will make you perceive that even if a sign came, they would not believe.

FS 22nd August, 2010 The the Laam here labelled as EMPH can also have another function which is 'Jawab shart' the answer to the previous above conditional particle. Since whereever there is a conditional particle there needs to be the result Is there is way we can account for this or do we just leave it as EMPH? wallahu a'alam
