Verse (6:100), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (6:100) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A circumstantial particle, verb and object pronoun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "while" and is used to indicate the circumstance of events. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is khā lām qāf (خ ل ق). The attached object pronoun is third person masculine plural.
