Verse (5:84), Word 10 - Quranic Grammar

The tenth word of verse (5:84) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A circumstantial particle and verb. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "while" and is used to indicate the circumstance of events. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is first person plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is ṭā mīm ʿayn (ط م ع).
