Verse (5:7), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (5:7) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, noun and possessive pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The noun is masculine and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The noun's triliteral root is wāw thā qāf (و ث ق). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine singular.
