Verse (5:23), Word 18 - Quranic Grammar

The eighteenth word of verse (5:23) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A supplemental particle, verb and subject pronoun. The supplemental particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so". The form V imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is wāw kāf lām (و ك ل). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
