Verse (56:53), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar


The first word of verse (56:53) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and active participle. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The active participle is masculine plural and is in the nominative case (مرفوع).
