Verse (51:40), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (51:40) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural.
