Verse (4:93), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (4:93) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A result particle, noun and possessive pronoun. The result particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate the result of a condition. The noun is masculine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is jīm zāy yā (ج ز ي). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine singular.

Sahih International: But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.
