Verse (4:5), Word 13 - Quranic Grammar

The thirteenth word of verse (4:5) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is qāf wāw lām (ق و ل). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
