Verse (4:41), Word 8 - Quranic Grammar

The eighth word of verse (4:41) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is jīm yā hamza (ج ي أ). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
