Verse (4:173), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (4:173) is a feminine plural active participle and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The active participle's triliteral root is ṣād lām ḥā (ص ل ح).

The analysis above refers to the 173rd verse of chapter 4 (sūrat l-nisāa):

Sahih International: And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards and grant them extra from His bounty. But as for those who disdained and were arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper.

Why الصَّالِحَاتِ is اسم منصوب in (4:173:5) فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ and it is

اسم مجرور in (32:19:5) أَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ

Why accusative: Because it is Object of verb.
