Verse (4:137), Word 16 - Quranic Grammar

The sixteenth word of verse (4:137) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A particle of purpose and verb. The prefixed particle lām is used to indicate the purpose of an action and makes the following verb subjunctive. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is ghayn fā rā (غ ف ر).

I m doctot zahid.when I click on DENIAL LAM PREFIX 4;137:16 in heading of THE SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD , it give the explanation of PURPOSE LAM PREFIX. Please amend this problem. jazakallah khair.
