Verse (4:103), Word 4 - Quranic Grammar

The fourth word of verse (4:103) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A result particle, verb and subject pronoun. The result particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate the result of a condition. The imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is dhāl kāf rā (ذ ك ر). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.

Verse (4:103)

The analysis above refers to the 103rd verse of chapter 4 (sūrat l-nisāa):

Sahih International: And when you have completed the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish [regular] prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.
