Verse (46:10), Word 18 - Quranic Grammar

The eighteenth word of verse (46:10) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A circumstantial particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "while" and is used to indicate the circumstance of events. The form X perfect verb (فعل ماض) is second person masculine plural. Sahih International: Say, "Have you considered: if the Qur'an was from Allah , and you disbelieved in it while a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to something similar and believed while you were arrogant... ?" Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
