Verse (43:20), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (43:20) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. Verse (43:20)

The analysis above refers to the twentieth verse of chapter 43 (sūrat l-zukh'ruf):

Sahih International: And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying.
