Verse (40:11), Word 7 - Quranic Grammar

The seventh word of verse (40:11) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction fa is usually translated as "and". The form VIII perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn rā fā (ع ر ف). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
