Verse (40:11), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (40:11) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is second person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is ḥā yā yā (ح ي ي). The suffix (التاء) is an attached subject pronoun.
