Verse (39:7), Word 2 - Quranic Grammar

The second word of verse (39:7) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A verb and subject pronoun. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is second person masculine plural and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is kāf fā rā (ك ف ر). Verse (39:7)

The analysis above refers to the seventh verse of chapter 39 (sūrat l-zumar):

Sahih International: If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

I think the followings should be مضارع مجزوم instead of مضارع منصوب .

(39:7:2) تَكْفُرُوا

(39:7:12) تَشْكُرُوا

Agreed. Jussive instead of subjunctive.
