Verse (39:6), Word 9 - Quranic Grammar

The ninth word of verse (39:6) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and verb. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is nūn zāy lām (ن ز ل).

Verse (39:6)

The analysis above refers to the sixth verse of chapter 39 (sūrat l-zumar):

Sahih International: He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah , your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted?
