(37:71:4) أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ sounds like مركب اضافى ? So should الْأَوَّلِينَ not be اسم مجرور ?

Yes, الْأَوَّلِينَ should be اسم مجرور rather than صفة مجرورة.
