Verse (35:8), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (35:8) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and object pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. Verse (35:8)

The analysis above refers to the eighth verse of chapter 35 (sūrat fāṭir):

Sahih International: Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
