Verse (33:10), Word 6 - Quranic Grammar

The sixth word of verse (33:10) is a masculine singular noun and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The case marker is a fatḥah instead of a kasrah because the noun is a diptote (ممنوع من الصرف). The noun's triliteral root is sīn fā lām (س ف ل).
