Verse (32:13), Word 3 - Quranic Grammar

The third word of verse (32:13) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is hamza tā yā (أ ت ي). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.

Verse (32:13)

Sahih International: And if we had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.
